Donations can be made in memory of a loved one, in honor of someone or in general to support hemochromatosis research, awareness, educational materials, outreach and services, whjich are managed by The Iron Disorders Institute.   Iron Disorders Institute is a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Agency that exists so that any person with iron disorder receives an early, accurate (complete) diagnosis, appropriate treatment and are equipped to live in good health.

Iron Disorders Institute is the national advocacy partner with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and is partnered with The National Institutes of Health (NIH)--Heart, Lung, Blood Institute (NHLBI) and Digestive Diseases Institute (NIDDK). IDI has three boards: a governing board of directors, a scientific and medical advisory board, and an IRB (Institutional Review Board).
