Step 1: Hemochromatosis Discovery
If you think you or your family may have Hemochromatosis, these three steps can better help your physician diagnose hemochromatosis in your family.
 
A:

B:
Have that physician test your blood for elevated iron. Testing for hemochromatosis is not hard. Have your physician draw an iron panel test on you. Use These Blood Tests.
 
C:

Inform your family. Hemochromatosis is genetic so that means other family could potentially have Hemochromatosis if you do.
